Fabric Scrap Spring Wreath

I saw a St. Patty's Day wreath on Pinterest the other week, and decided to create my own spring/summer wreath for our front door.  This is probably the easiest this I've done yet!

Materials I used:
Wire Coat Hanger
Pliars
About (170-200) fabric scraps
Ribbon
White Paint

I molded the wire hanger with the pliars into the best circle I could, and then duct taped the ends together leaving the hook part for later.  And then I sat down for the most grouling part; to cut TONS of strips.  I cut them 1x6, but none of them are exact.  I figure, the messier the better :)  Oh, and I used all patterns, except for one, which is a pale yellow.

Then I tied them all to the wire, pushing them as close together as I could get them.  Finished it off with a bow and some white paint to cover the nasty hanger color, and voila! (I love that word)  <3

I love all the colors!  So springy!!!

  1. This is so cute and such a wonderful idea. I really like all the colors you chose for the wreath. I am working on paper flowers and arrangements for my room right now. I just have to find the time to do it all :) Hahaha.
